You cant install a previous version of OS from the Latest Version Installed. You can do so only through DOS using bootup C.D. If You are using XP and if you want to useWindows 98 R 2k also, Have Windows 98 Boot C.D, all Windows 98 are Boot Up only So if u have file copied in Computer Write in a C.D. Restart computer, Change the BIOS setting by pressing del or F2 Key. Make sure that CD/DVD drive is first boot device. Now you can install windows 98. Install it in another folder like D: drive. After installation and restart you ll get OS selection menu at the boot screen.
Using Dual OS may slow the process.
You can remove any OS by just formating the drive. Copy all important file to another drive before Formatting.
The best OS is Windows XP for Home use. For Network/LAN Windows 2000 is Good.
